Food for Thought: The Weather

Here in North Western PA, we're in the midst of an unseasonably warm, dry, weather trend at the end of September 2017. Indian Summer usually occurs after the first frost but my right brain tells me that “now” is our Indian Summer. An atypical year? When you put the electric blanket on the bed in late August, it's a telltale sign. Locals are saying, “What Summer?”, because we've had few days in the 90's. Growing up here, our usual summers had plenty of days in the 90's and 100+ degrees of Fahrenheit.

So what is the Spring equivalent of Indian Summer? This time of transition is not so well known. It's called a “False Spring”. You can “Bing”search on both terms. Last January, I photographed Lettuce, about 2” in height, growing in my back yard. The IPhone date is 1-5-17. Strange. I remember my favorite day of the whole year, March 17^th... St. Pat's. I've lived through blizzards and a wedding in the the middle of the woods at 80 degrees. More blizzards than heatwaves, however.

I digress... Yea, I am aware we're on the downward slope of a Solar Minimum Period and Global Warming is a hoax. I don't watch the weather on TV anymore. Meteorologists had better get on-board with Space Weather before I'm inclined to watch. And while I'm at it, start paying attention to the odd wave anomalies being generated from the Continent of Antarctica. Didn't John Kerry visit Antarctica right after the 2016 elections...you betcha. What an odd place for the Secretary of State to visit after his party's surprising loss in the elections. Coincidence? I think not. I dare say, you're not likely to see a meteorologist talk about how it affects the weather.

Well, to quote Dylan, “The Times They Are A Changin'.” What was once in the dark, secret, and hidden will now be exposed. Like it or not, our Sun is spiraling from the deceitful Age of Pisces, into the light of TRUTH - The Age of Aquarius. Fickle, emotional Pisces is leaving.  Hold your emotions in check, don't be triggered.  Now is the time to open your MIND.
